Multimedia

 

 All Pathfinder control units (AutoPilot, TankMaster, Standard) can accommodate multi-media input during float sessions. The AutoPilot runs the multimedia control station automatically.
     
    Start of session
    At the start of session, relaxing music, video images, or guided meditations / progressive relaxation exercises can accelerate and deepen the relaxation response associated with floating.

 It takes between 10 to 20 minutes for the floatation REST environment to induce the relaxation response, and for the floater to adjust from the sensory overload of the external world to the
tranquility of the floatation chamber.
 
·
 First-time floaters, in particular, may find this transition difficult. Faced with a new experience, they may be slightly nervous, excited, curious, and over-analytical - all at the same time.
 
·
 For first-time floaters, a 20-30 minute video presentation at the start of session is often the best method of occupying their senses while the relaxation response is given time to spread through their bodies.
 
·
 Even experienced floaters may find it hard to switch-off "mental chatter" in the early stages of a float session; many "purists" are surprised to discover the efficacy of video-hypnosis or guided meditations.
     
    Mid-session
    At the mid-point of a session, when brainwave activity is in the potent theta levels, learning or motivational training materials can have a profound impact.
     
 

 

 End of session
 

 

At the end-of-session, the purpose of the music is to rouse the floater from deep relaxation, and signal that the float session is over.

Experienced floaters often prefer to spend most of the float session in complete silence.

 At all times, the floater has fingertip control over Pathfinder's audio and video systems.
 
·
 The AutoPilot and TankMaster systems incorporate audio over-ride circuitry to ensure that end-of-session music comes in at full volume.
 
·
 The Standard control unit also incorporates a visual signal to alert the supervisor that the audio has been turned off. Full audio volume can be restored bv the supervisor at the press of a button.
     
    Media list
    To help our customers fully exploit Pathfinder's multi-media capability, the Owners Manual includes a comprehensive supplier listing of suitable audio and video materials.

 These include neuromuscular programming for sports technique, stress-management and motivational training programs, video-hypnosis, fractal meditations, solfeggio frequencies, vibrational healing, sacred or religious chants, and much more.
 
·
 Samples of recommended media are included in every Pathfinder package.

 Pathfinder is delivered as a complete, ready-to-use package.

 Main tank unit: tank base, plus tank top (with sliding door).

 Anti-vibration pad (to minimize low frequency sound disturbance).

 Filtration unit (which also houses the ventilation system) with lid and splash-tray.

 Step unit with anti-slip rubber footpad.
 
·
 Control unit and cabling.
 
·
 400 kg pharmaceutical-grade Epsom salts (350 kg is used during installation, 50 kg is for top-up).
 
·
 Test kit and treatment chemicals for the solution.
 
·
 Spa-vac for cleaning the floatation pool.
 
·
 Many small accessories including a tool kit, spare filter element, spare parts, earplugs, and a selection of CDs and videos.

All Pathfinder systems are covered by a 24-month warranty.

However, Pathfinder systems are built to last a lifetime, and the team at our Singapore factory will provide fast and efficient worldwide technical support during and after the warranty period.
